arrival & first days in Singapore

After a reeeally long trip in a big, dark, and loud machine, mom and I finally arrived at Singapore Changi airport. After we picked up our bag, there were many people who looked alot like mommy smiling and talking to me. Most of them also carried and even kissed me. These people are a real friendly bunch.

Anyway, I am now staying with these friendly people and I have learnt that they are my mommy's mommy, mommy's poppy, mommy's brother, mommy's brother's girlfriend and mommy's sister. There is also a very big rabbit with short ears and long legs staying with us all...his name is Russell, he's also a real friendly fellow who tries to lick me despite all effort to keep him away from me.

I still do not know where my poppy is, it has been a while since he change my diapers or give me my bottle. I do hope to see him soon.

Den Hout bush bush

My first time in nature with mommy and poppy has been a great experience. The sky was blue, the trees were green and the birds were singing. I think I heard mom and pop talking about this is finally spring time. Anyway, I also met Elisa, she is this babe with big beautiful blue eyes and a very cute smile. She is a little older than I am (10 months old) but we get along fine. Her mom and pop, (Aunty Claire and Uncle Ruben) also came along to the bangalow for one night and they had fun kicking my mom and pop's butts with the board game.

OK, check out the photo slideshow people!

So far so good

People, I have been busy impressing my folks lately!! One of the things that I have done was impressing them with my newly developed skill to finish my meals in half the amount of time than before. Yup, you've heard me right, half the amount of time, that leaves me with plenty of time to do other stuff.

You should have seen my mommy's face two days ago when I turned from my belly to my back, in one go, no practises necessary, just did it! Mom was so surprised that she called my pop immediately and of course she missed out taking photos or videos of it. Heehee...well maybe I will do it again so that she will have some evidences of me in action. Yesterday, I also decided that it is time that I sit, of course with some help from mommy. She would offer me her fingers to me while I am lying down, I would grab them and then VOILA, sit! It's not really diificult or anything, I mean I was just ready. So you can imagine how shocked I was when mommy starts to clap her hands and started shouting "woohoo". It was also really fun to watch mom's reaction when I laughed out loud for the first time last week in the middle of the night. Yup, I am also laughing when pop or mom do or say something funny. I have to say that these folks, they really know how to crack me up. But it's not always easy to meet people with the same sense of humor...countless aunties and uncles have tried and failed. Ok ok I still cannot really count but you know what I mean. In the mean time, I am also practising my voice. It's really nice to talk to mom and pop while they are talking. It's so cozy talking to them especially in the middle of the night when it's all quiet and dark, really cheers me up.

Recently, Mom and I have been busy with going to places where there are many people. Some of them are big like mom and pop but guess what? There are also these really small people, much smaller, I mean, what are they? Anyway, they are not really so interesting but boy are these people small !

谁说我不乖

Rumor has it that I do not sleep very well and I have not been very sweet to my mom and pop. Well, I would like to set the record straight by showing to you all ah ma, ah gong, opa, oma, aunties and uncles that it is totally not true.

As you can see from the photo, I sleep like, well, a baby. Actually, I even have two sleeping locations. One of them is in a sarong/hammock in my parents' bedroom and the other is my own bed in my own bedroom. So you can see how well and how much I sleep that I need two sleeping places. & ok, maybe I have not been the sweetest model baby for my poor parents but I am doing my best hor.

Comments are welcome only if you are defending my position too.
